The strike at Canada Post is over but there is a one month backlog so please be patient if you’re waiting for a confirmation that your package has arrived with us.

We’ll be closed for a holiday break after December 20, re-opening January 6, 2025.  Emails and voicemails will be answered in order.

We’ll be launching some service changes early in 2025.  Film Rescue Europe will no longer be processing expired film and the cost of forwarding film back and forth the mail lab in Canada has become prohibitive.  All orders from outside of the USA should now be directed to Canada.  If you are in Europe or Britain, please do not send your expired film to Den Haag.

Cycle 24H week 15:  the last motion film order invoices will be emailed in the next day – check your email spam if you didn’t receive anything.

*Any order to be physically returned outside of the USA (including Canada):  Canada Post / Canadian union of postal workers have been on strike since Nov.15^th.  Online file delivery is available.

Cycle 25A week 7:  We can’t guarantee still film galleries will be available before the lab closes for Christmas / New Year holidays… we’ll do our best.  Motion film processing orders should be finished late February.

Cycle 25B week 1:  It takes some time to do the administrative work for each cycle. You may not hear from us until the new year if we have questions about your order or to receive your motion film processing minimum charge invoice.

The cutoff for our next cycle, 25C, is February 3, 2025.

Cycle 24H end of week 11: Motion film processing is complete and all film is being inspected for image.  Once the digitization is complete, we hope to be sending final invoices by the first week of December.  If you didn’t initially request online file delivery, please contact us – especially if you hope to receive results before Christmas.   Still film processing: check your spam folder if you didn’t receive your invoice and link to your online gallery.

*Any order to be returned outside of the USA (including Canada):  Canada Post / Canadian union of postal workers are on strike as of Nov.15^th.  This is another reason we encourage customers who may be affected to request online file delivery.  Customers within the USA will not be affected.

Cycle 25A week 3:  Still film processing is underway.  Motion film processing minimum charge invoices will be emailed by the end of November.  As noted in the “Your package has arrived” email we sent, this cycle will run longer than usual; we close the lab over the Christmas and New Year period.   Cycle 24H was the final cycle to be completed in 2024.

Cycle 25B cutoff date is December 9.

NOTE: AS OF NOV. 15,2024 CANADA POST (CANADIAN UNION OF POSTAL WORKERS (CUPW) ARE ON STRIKE.  IF YOU ARE MAILING FROM WITHIN CANADA OR TO CANADA, THERE WILL LIKELY BE DELAYS.  

Cycle 24G week 12: Motion film processing is complete and we’re working through the digitization.  Final invoices will be emailed out late this month/early November.

Cycle 24H week 6:  Still film processing is nearly complete; invoices for gallery access should be ready in the next 2 to 3 weeks.  We aren’t through the motion film processing yet.

Cycle 25A cutoff is October 28.
