The work of FILM RESCUE is closely related to the high quality standards of museums and public institutions such as archives and universities. That is why we work on the digitization, cataloging and documentation of historical material in accordance with international standards of conversion technology.
We follow standards
Since April 2015 more than 250 museums have adopted guidelines known as Amsterdam Principles. We feel committed to these principles in our work. This also includes compliance with the Metamorfoze and FADGI color standards. All of our digital copies reach these standards and are comparable to many international service providers in terms of resolution and color reproduction.
We secure collections
FILM RESCUE International now offers a new service – Mass Digitization. We treat jobs with one image the same as collections of 10,000 images. Our system has not only proven itself in the case of paper, books or drawings, we also work with our own exclusive technology, especially in the digitization of film and negatives. Following the digitization, we offer a repackaging service, restoration and storage advice to secure your valuable holdings permanently after the digital inventory.
