This service brings your disc film negatives into the 21st century. We do not use vintage disc film printers. All disc film is first cleaned and scanned, then digitally enhanced and color corrected. You have the option of scans only or scans with prints. We do not offer "reprints only" as the digital step is required to ensure the highest quality.

Work is done in one month cycles. If your order is in by the 1st of the month, prints should reach you in 2 to 4 weeks; your cd and originals will ship separately (add an extra 2 weeks or so). If you miss the 1st of the month cutoff your order may be held until the next work cycle begins (i.e. the following month).

All work is archived and stored indefinitely. If your film is damaged or lost in the mail, we can supply another CD-R with your images.

Lower Resolution Scans

1.8 megabyte file per picture. Auto color correction and spotting. CD-R includes browser slide show. This service is all most customers need in order to get acceptable 4x5 prints.

High Resolution Scans

5.3 megabyte file per picture. Auto digital actions followed by manual color and contrast correction and spotting. CD-R includes browser slide show. This service is necessary only if you intend to make prints over 4x5 or there is extreme damage to the negatives.

*Please see scans and reprints option on the home page if you wish to have individual frames selected from your disc. The service will be the equivalent of the high resolution scans offered here. If you have several pictures from one disc that you need done it is often less expensive to do the entire disc. This is due to the fact that, with disc film, the entire disc must be scanned and then unwanted frames discarded before color corrections and enhancement.
